DTS Format

The DTS Format (*.dts) offers the easiest way to experience ambisonics at home. If you are new to ambisonia.com and you wish to experience ambisonics on your Home Theatre system, we recommend you download a few DTS files, then follow these instructions.

If you really like what you hear, we invite you to subscribe to the DTS podcast where you can automatically download any new ambisonic files submitted to the site.

Eventually, you might like to try and play the raw ambisonic files. These have a number of advantages, like height (sounds come from below and above, not just behind).
