Participate in ambisonia

All ambisonic recordings/compositions are welcome on ambisonia, on the basis that you have the right to publish the work.

All files must be submitted as B-Format *.amb files (so that the work can be translated to other formats). There is a tutorial on how to create a *.amb files.

Ambisonia uses the bittorrent peer-to-peer protocol to distribute recordings. Using this protocol allows us to have minimal server cost overhead and also allows many users to have fast downloads.

For the DSP gurus out there, Richard Lee has published many technical insights, notably, SHELF FILTERS for Ambisonic Decoders.

A list has been created to discuss the development of Ambisonia.com, from file formats to publishing surround. Everyone is welcome to participate in the discussion. The list is public, and is managed by Yahoo Groups.
