 Ave Maria - Biebl

Two prominent men's choruses from America's east coast, joined forces at Washington's New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, to sing Franz Biebl's Ave Maria. Written in 1964, it is regarded to be his best-known and most performed work, with its text taken from portions of the Angelus as well as the Ave Maria. Originally scored for men's voices, it has been recast for women's voices as well as a mixed choir.
